Your new role

This school is seeking a hands-on, proactive Technical Assistant to support our vibrant Design Department, which includes Design & Technology and Systems & Technology Studies. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a values-driven educational environment and play a key role in maintaining safe, functional, and inspiring workshop spaces for students and staff.

• Maintain and repair workshop machinery (e.g. table saws, band saws, thicknessers) and hand tools
• Prepare materials (wood, metal, plastics) for classroom use
• Assist with displays, exhibitions, and classroom setups
• Order, store, and replenish consumables and equipment
• Liaise with contractors and support wider school events
• Uphold OH&S standards and contribute to a safe learning environment

What you'll need to succeed

A valid Working with children check (Employee) or willing to obtain

A police check or willing to obtain.
