Project Analyst – Wealth & Institutional Banking

Location: Sydney, NSW (Hybrid)
Daily Rate: $400 + Super
Contract Term: 12 months

An exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented Project Analyst to support a strategic program within a major financial services organisation. This role is ideal for someone with experience in wealth management, investments, or institutional banking, and a strong background in project coordination and stakeholder engagement.

About the Role

You will contribute to the delivery of key initiatives focused on regulatory change, operational improvement, and strategic transformation. Working closely with teams across product, legal, risk, compliance, and technology, you will help shape future state processes and ensure effective project governance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct analysis of current operating models and support the design of improved future-state processes
  • Assist in preparing project documentation, stakeholder updates, and presentation materials
  • Support project planning activities including scope, milestones, timelines, and governance structures
  • Maintain accurate tracking of project progress, risks, and dependencies
  • Coordinate meetings, document outcomes, and follow up on actions
  • Escalate risks and issues to project leads as appropriate
  • Manage smaller workstreams or subprojects under direction
  • Ensure alignment with internal policies and regulatory requirements

Skills and Experience

  • Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and analytical thinking
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
  • Experience in financial services, particularly wealth, private banking, or institutional investment

Desirable Qualifications


  • Experience in a project analyst, consulting, or product support role
  • Exposure to strategy, transformation, or business development initiatives
  • Experience in a consulting or financial services environment is advantageous.
