You will be working with a renowned government agency based in Sydney CBD.

Your new role
You will develop and fine-tune correlation rules, dashboards, and alerts to improve threat detection. You will monitor and analyse security events from various sources including firewalls, IDS/IPS, endpoints, and cloud environments. You will collaborate with SOC and incident response teams to investigate and remediate security incidents. You will onduct regular health checks and performance tuning of the SIEM platform,

What you'll need to succeed

• Design, implement, and maintain SIEM solutions (e.g., Splunk, IBM QRadar, ArcSight, LogRhythm).
• 3+ years of experience working with SIEM technologies.
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, threat detection, and incident response.
• Hands-on experience with one or more SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar, etc.).
• Familiarity with log formats, regex, and scripting (Python, PowerShell, etc.).
• Knowledge of MITRE ATT&CK framework and threat intelligence integration.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., Splunk Certified, GCIA, CEH, CISSP) are a plus.
