This role will start as a temporary contract for three months, with the potential for further extension and fixed-term contract options.
Your new role
- Deliver financial advice and support to operational and corporate areas.
- Assist in budget development, monitoring, and forecasting.
- Prepare financial reports and analysis to support business planning and performance evaluation.
- Collaborate with business units to identify financial risks and opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with relevant financial legislation, policies, and procedures.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of financial strategies and initiatives.
- Support internal audits and financial reviews.
- Maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
What you'll need to succeed
- Demonstrated experience in financial management, budgeting, and reporting.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to communicate financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
- Proficiency in financial systems and Microsoft Excel.
- Knowledge of public sector financial frameworks and governance.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
