The Finance Business Partner provides expert financial consultancy services to internal stakeholders, supporting strategic decision-making and ensuring sound financial management across the department. This role will start as a temporary contract for three months, with the potential for further extension and fixed-term contract options.

Your new role

• Deliver financial advice and support to operational and corporate areas.
• Assist in budget development, monitoring, and forecasting.
• Prepare financial reports and analysis to support business planning and performance evaluation.
• Collaborate with business units to identify financial risks and opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with relevant financial legislation, policies, and procedures.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of financial strategies and initiatives.
• Support internal audits and financial reviews.
• Maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

What you'll need to succeed

• Demonstrated experience in financial management, budgeting, and reporting.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to communicate financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
• Proficiency in financial systems and Microsoft Excel.
• Knowledge of public sector financial frameworks and governance.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
