Our client based in Perth is seeking a Care Operations Manager.

Our client requires a Care Operations Manager to join their team as soon as possible for a permanent full-time opportunity. This position is in Perth nearby to public transport and parking. The role will be leading a small team as well as managing the business side of the organisation’s operations. Our client is seeking a passionate and driven individual who can drive operational success.

Your new role

The responsibilities of this role will consist of:
  • Provide compassionate leadership to teams
  • Collaborate across departments and with external stakeholders to deliver high-quality services within budgetary constraints.
  • Oversee annual budgeting processes, prepare executive-level reports, and ensure financial compliance.
  • Support team development through training, coaching, and conducting annual performance reviews.
  • Strengthen cross-functional relationships to contribute to strategic planning and service growth.
  • Champion continuous improvement initiatives and promote person-centred dementia care practices.
  • Identify service delivery gaps, design new programs, and enhance the visibility of aged care services.
  • Manage operational plans aimed at increasing revenue while ensuring compliance with relevant legislation.
  • Develop business plans aligned with strategic goals and oversee operational reporting.
  • Assist senior leadership with project delivery, funding proposals, and grant applications.
  • Ensure adherence to safety and quality standards through policy compliance and feedback mechanisms.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Postgraduate qualification in Human Services, Business, or a related discipline, with a minimum of five years of relevant industry experience, including leadership at an executive level.
  • Registered Nurse (RN) or clinical background, with demonstrated experience in leading clinical or care teams.
  • Strong understanding of aged care sector regulations, compliance requirements, and quality standards.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to manage stakeholder relationships and effectively prioritise tasks.
  • Familiarity with NDIS, Home Care Packages, and Commonwealth Home Support Programme legislation and standards
