Quality Assurance Specialist (Water)

Seeking an experienced Water Quality Assurance Specialist for a 12-month temporary contract

Your new company

Our client is part of a large health organisation, with offices across Perth metro and regional WA. They are seeking a qualified and experienced Water Quality Assurance Specialist to lead the implementation and oversight of water quality management strategies across our regional facilities. This is a pivotal role ensuring the safety and compliance of potable water systems in alignment with relevant legislation, standards, and internal frameworks.

Your new role

  • Develop, implement, and manage water quality and facility water safety plans.
  • Provide expert advice on water infrastructure, testing protocols, and maintenance strategies.
  • Lead investigations into water-related issues and prepare detailed reports and recommendations.
  • Coordinate and support risk management, quality assurance, and regulatory compliance activities.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives in water quality management across multiple facilities.
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders, contractors, and regulatory bodies to ensure best practices are upheld.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Demonstrated Quality Assurance experience is essential, with a high preference to candidates with demonstrated experience in water quality management.
  • Demonstrated experience within healthcare or large infrastructure environments would be desirable.
  • Strong understanding of Australian Standards, Codes of Practice, and relevant legislation.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams.
Desirable Qualifications & Experience
  • Tertiary qualifications in Environmental Science, Engineering, Public Health, or a related field.
  • Experience in developing and implementing water safety or risk management plans.
  • Familiarity with healthcare facility operations and infrastructure.
