We’re seeking an experienced Microsoft Dynamics CRM Marketing Functional Consultant to lead the expansion and optimisation of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Insights – Journeys and Data. This is a key role within a digital transformation team focused on enhancing marketing capabilities and streamlining customer engagement processes.


Your new role

As a Functional Consultant, you’ll be responsible for configuring and optimising existing Dynamics 365 features, enabling new capabilities, and providing technical leadership across multidisciplinary teams. You’ll collaborate closely with architects, developers, testers, analysts, and marketing professionals to identify opportunities and deliver impactful enhancements.

  • Lead the expansion and optimisation of Real-time Journeys and Event Planning modules
  • Configure segments, journeys, templates, and marketing attribution models
  • Enhance event registration forms, submission processes, and data capture
  • Advise on security roles, permissions, and customer engagement settings
  • Support implementation of brand and compliance profiles, preference centres, and consent management
  • Configure Power Pages event portals and develop marketing/event forms
  • Provide technical guidance to upskill internal teams and support agile delivery

What you'll need to succeed

  • Tertiary qualifications in ICT or relevant Microsoft Dynamics 365 certifications
  • Proven experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Insights – Journeys and Data
  • Demonstrated success implementing and optimising real-time journeys and event planning modules
  • Strong understanding of marketing strategies and supporting technical solutions
  • Technical proficiency in CRM systems and related technologies, including data migration
  • Knowledge of Australian privacy laws and government IT systems
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities
  • Adaptability in fast-paced environments
  • Attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Experience working with Australian government agencies.
  • Security Clearance Requirements: Applicants must be Australian citizens and hold a minimum of Baseline security clearance (AGSVA). Candidates without the required clearance will not be considered.
  • Location: Applicants need to live in Canberra, Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne, or Adelaide and be able to work from the local office a few days each week, as the role involves regular teamwork and collaboration.
