Middle office role within agency services in syndicated lending

The Role
Support the Agency & Trustee Services team within Corporate Finance by managing operational and middle office tasks across bespoke transactions. These include roles such as Facility Agent, Security Trustee, Intercreditor Agent, Escrow Agent, Account Bank, USPP Paying Agent, and Note Registry services. Ensure efficient execution, compliance, and stakeholder support throughout the transaction lifecycle.


Key Responsibilities
  • Provide operational support to Agency Relationship Managers to deliver seamless service to borrowers and syndicated lenders.
  • Handle invoicing and legal fee management related to facility agreements.
  • Administer the Debt Domain website throughout the lifecycle of syndicated deals.
  • Process transfer certificates and secondary trading requests.
  • Coordinate AML/KYC checks for lenders involved in syndicated deals, refinancing, and secondary trades.
  • Oversee PPSR registrations and securities management.
  • Act as USPP registrar, managing trades and transfers of USPP notes.
  • Facilitate issuance, amendment, or cancellation of contingent liabilities (e.g., Bank Guarantees, Letters of Credit).
  • Coordinate setup, amendment, or termination of bank accounts and term deposits.
  • Handle minor administrative consent requests on behalf of the Agent.
  • Complete new and terminated facility checklists and participate in the Deal Review process

The Details
Location: 2 Carrington Street, Sydney – hybrid working environment
Duration: 12 month temporary assignment with chance of extension
Hours: Business hours, Monday to Friday
Hourly Rate: $60.00 + Super


The Successful Candidate
  • Strong understanding of syndicated loan deals
  • In-depth knowledge of facility agreements is non-negotiable.
  • Experience in the Corporate and/or Institutional Bank Loan Market or a similar environment.
  • Familiarity with loan systems and payment platforms such as: LoanIQ, SWIFT, RTGS
