Your new role
- Preparation of fortnightly rosters to ensure all areas of the organisation are covered
- Maintenance of master roster
- Assistance with the implementation of the new roster platform
- Data entry of roster changes
- Answer sick calls and arrange shift replacements where necessary
- Cross-checking of timesheets against rosters to ensure correct payment of rostered hours
- Liaise with the on-call roster team - Observes and respects staff privacy
- Maintains staff availability register, in conjunction with the on-call roster team
- Maintains knowledge of all current Workplace Agreements, including the EBA’s and the SCHADS Award
- Ad hoc admin tasks as required
- Provide relief of reception duties
- Any other duties as directed by Management
What you'll need to succeed
- Excellent organisational and time management skills to handle complex rosters and meet deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail for accurate data entry, timesheet verification, and compliance with awards.
- Effective communication skills to liaise with staff, management, and external stakeholders.
- Proficiency in rostering and payroll systems, along with Microsoft Office applications.
- Problem-solving ability to manage last-minute changes, sick calls, and shift replacements.
- Knowledge of workplace agreements and awards, such as EBAs and the SCHADS Award
- 3+ years admin experience
