Join a growing medium-sized Accounting and Wealth Advisory firm located in the Adelaide CBD. We are seeking an experienced and motivated Tax Manager to join our Accounting team! We provide a fully integrated service across Business Advisory, Self-Managed Superannuation, Tax, Accounting, HR Advice, Cloud Solutions, Wealth Management and Lending Services, to a substantial portfolio of business and professional clients.

Your new role

We are seeking to appoint a Manager with at least 6 years’ experience working in a professional practice.
In this role you will:
  • Work closely with a partner and assist in the supervision and training of other team members
  • Review Financial Statements, Tax Returns and Business Activity Statements for Individuals, Partnerships, Trusts and Companies in a wide range of industries
  • Build and manage client relationships to provide support and create solutions for their business, taxation, and accounting requirements
  • Prepare, review, and analyse Management Financial Statements
  • Prepare and review year-end tax planning reports to present to clients

What you'll need to succeed

The ideal candidate will have:
  • Comprehensive understanding of Income Tax, Goods and Services Tax and Capital Gains Tax
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Experience in the use of Xero, MYOB, and Microsoft Office
  • CA or CPA qualifications
  • An ability to build and maintain professional working relationships with team members and clients
A keen interest in cloud-based systems will be well regarded, as will experience with Xero Software.
