Hays Business Support are currently seeking an APS3 Service Support Officer for a federal government agency focused on delivering high-quality mental health and wellbeing services to a specific client group. This role sits within a clinical operations team and provides essential administrative and customer service support to ensure smooth service delivery.

Your new role

Based in multiple locations, you will be the first point of contact for clients accessing services, either in person or via phone and email. You’ll provide administrative support to the regional clinical team, including appointment management, coordination of events and programs, data entry, travel bookings, invoice processing, and correspondence with internal and external stakeholders.

You’ll be part of a multidisciplinary team committed to delivering quality services to the community and will contribute to the daily operations of the centre, supporting both clients and staff.

What you'll need to succeed

To be successful in this role, you’ll have demonstrated experience in administrative support within a health or government setting. You will also be:

  • A confident communicator with strong customer service skills
  • Highly organised and able to manage competing priorities
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, client-focused environment
  • Proficient in administrative systems and record keeping
  • Able to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
Mandatory Requirements

  • Australian citizenship (as per APS employment eligibility)
  • Ability to obtain or currently hold a Working with Vulnerable People registration or Working with Children check
  • Ability to obtain or currently hold a Baseline Security Clearance
