Your new role
As Financial Controller, you’ll lead the finance function and play a key role in strategic decision-making, reporting directly to senior leadership. You’ll oversee financial operations, ensure compliance, and guide the business through continued growth. Key responsibilities include:
Delivery of accurate monthly financial and management reports (P&L, cash flow, balance sheet)
Oversight of general ledger, chart of accounts, and balance sheet reconciliations
Implementation and monitoring of cost accounting systems, including BOM development
Analysis of production overheads, labour costs, and raw material variances
Preparation of quarterly ASX reporting and statutory compliance
Liaison with external auditors and accountants for timely audit completion
Cash flow management and payroll oversight for approx. 30 staff
Coordination of annual budgets and quarterly forecasts
Maintenance of fixed asset registers and KPI reporting
Management of FBT and income tax compliance
Development and enforcement of accounting policies and internal controls
Mentoring and training of finance team members
What you'll need to succeed
CA or CPA qualified (or equivalent)
3–5 years’ experience in a similar role, ideally within manufacturing
Strong technical accounting and financial modelling skills
Background in audit or SME finance highly regarded
ASX reporting experience desirable
