This role can be based in either Sydney or Melbourne.

Your new role

As Financial Controller, you will be entrusted with overseeing the full spectrum of financial management across the group. Your core accountabilities will include:

Leading all financial functions including accounting, taxation, audit, payroll, and compliance
Delivering timely, accurate and insightful financial reports to internal and external stakeholders
Preparing annual statutory financial statements in line with ASIC requirements
Managing the group’s budgeting process and driving regular re-forecasting
Partnering with department heads to analyse performance and develop action plans
Supporting strategic initiatives to enhance financial health and operational efficiency
Coaching and empowering direct reports to foster a culture of excellence
Representing the group with professionalism and integrity in all external engagements

What you'll need to succeed

To thrive in this role, you’ll bring a blend of technical expertise, commercial acumen, and leadership finesse. You will:
Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Economics, Business or Accounting
Be CA or CPA qualified
Have proven experience in a commercial finance environment
Demonstrate strong leadership and business partnering capabilities
Bring industry experience (highly regarded but not essential)
