Our federal client is seeking multiple Senior Cloud Solutions Architects to lead cloud migration initiatives and support digital innovation across a large government department’s application portfolio. These roles are ideal for seasoned technical leaders who are passionate about delivering impactful business outcomes, solving complex challenges, and driving digital transformation.

Your new role

• Lead the design and implementation of scalable, secure, and resilient cloud application architectures.
• Oversee the migration of legacy and on-premises applications to cloud-native environments.
• Develop both high-level and detailed architecture designs for cloud deployments.
• Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture frameworks and ICT strategies.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Promote architectural best practices and cloud adoption across teams.

What you'll need to succeed

• Extensive Experience: Minimum 10 years in system architecture, design, and enterprise development across diverse technology environments.
• Cloud Expertise: Proven knowledge in cloud architectures, cloud-native deployments, and associated security capabilities.
• Security Focus: Demonstrated experience in delivering secure applications, with a strong understanding of DevSecOps practices and security design principles.
• Modern Development Practices: Proficiency in CI/CD, automation, and modern frameworks and languages such as C# and Angular.
• Leadership: Strong leadership and mentoring capabilities, with experience guiding developers and engineers.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Security Clearance Requirements: Applicants must be Australian citizens and hold a minimum of NV1 security clearance. Candidates without the required clearance will not be considered.
• Location: Canberra, ACT-based candidates only, due to the collaborative and interactive nature of the role.
