Your new role

As an Intermediate Accountant, you will play a key role in supporting accurate financial reporting, taxation compliance, and general accounting functions. You’ll gain exposure across a variety of industries and work closely with senior team members to deliver high-quality outcomes.

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Perform general ledger reconciliations, journal entries, and adjustments
• Assist with management reports and dashboards
• Ensure timely and accurate month-end and year-end close processes
• Prepare and lodge BAS, IAS, and FBT returns
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of tax legislation and compliance requirements
• Use accounting software (Xero, MYOB, QuickBooks) and cloud-based tools
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and reporting accuracy

What you'll need to succeed

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 2–4 years of experience in an accounting role
• Progressing toward CA or CPA qualification
• Intermediate proficiency in Xero, MYOB, and Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong communication and time-management skills
• Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively
• Experience in a fast-paced, client-centric environment
• Demonstrated ability to drive process improvements
