Parking Manager- 12 Week Secondment

An exciting temporary contract for a Parking Manager to join council in the Eastern Suburbs.

Your new role

As the Parking Manager, you will:

  • Manage and lead multidisciplinary teams across parking enforcement and ranger operations
  • Respond decisively to high-risk, politically sensitive, or crisis-driven situations, maintaining community confidence and organisational reputation
  • Foster a customer-focused culture that ensures respectful and timely driven service delivery
  • Build strong partnerships with NSW Police and neighbouring councils to address shared community safety challenges
  • Lead complex investigations and represent Council in regulatory proceedings
  • Manage day to day operations of the team
  • Managing and rostering of staff

What you'll need to succeed

  • Tertiary qualifications in Regulatory Services, or a related field or equivalent experience
  • Deep understanding of NSW legislation governing local government
  • Proven leadership in enforcement teams, with experience navigating complex or sensitive issues
  • Exceptional communication, stakeholder management and advocacy skills
  • Demonstrated ability to build high-performing teams, and drive continuous improvement
  • Current NSW Class C Driver’s Licence
