Your new role

As Technical Business Analyst, you will play a key role in shaping the requirements for a modern data platform. You’ll work closely with analysts, engineers, and scrum masters to translate business needs into technical specifications, while also managing the transition of data platform releases into production. This role is seconded into a major transformation program and reports to the Senior Manager of Business and External Reporting.

• Collaborate with BAs, data modellers, and engineers to define and document technical requirements
• Support QA and testing teams to ensure data integrity and quality post-migration
• Lead release management activities including operational readiness and BAU transition planning
• Coordinate technical documentation, runbooks, and support materials for production handover
• Define service support processes including incident, change, and problem management
• Act as the key liaison between business, IT, and external vendors during migration
• Communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders

What you'll need to succeed

• Must be a citizen and able to obtain baseline
• 5+ years’ experience in technical business analysis or data-focused roles
• Proven track record in large-scale data projects, including cloud migration
• Strong understanding of Databricks, Azure Data Services, and enterprise data platforms
• Experience supporting BAU teams and managing operational transitions
• Excellent analytical, documentation, and stakeholder engagement skills
• Ability to bridge technical and business domains with clear communication
