Material & Catalogue Coordinator
A large, stable organisation is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Material & Catalogue Coordinator to support its operations in Osborne Park. With free onsite parking and an immediate start, this role offers the chance to contribute meaningfully to a well-established team.
Position Purpose
Manage administrative and purchasing activities related to materials and catalogues in line with company policies. Drive continuous improvement in material control and inventory management processes.
Key Responsibilities
Lead continuous improvement in maintenance and inventory practices
Maintain accurate inventory balances and reporting systems
Review and optimise stock levels to reduce working capital
Ensure materials ordered meet specifications and delivery timelines
Assist with inventory control and reconciliation
Manage and update material schedules and catalogue lists
Oversee vendor pricing, units of measure, and part allocations by location
Standardise product information and improve catalogue quality
Prioritise the use of existing stock before initiating new purchases
Provide purchasing advice and guidance to internal stakeholders
Expedite stock deliveries and maintain 7-day procurement coverage
Process material requests in accordance with guidelines and policies
Key Competencies
Strong PC skills, particularly in Microsoft Excel
Analytical approach to problem-solving
Effective presentation and communication skills with stakeholders
Location & Start
Ideally, we would like someone to start at relatively short notice and this is a salaried role with paid holidays etc.
