We are seeking a qualified Mechanical Fitter to join one of our valued clients on a FIFO basis, supporting operations in a dynamic mining environment.

Your new role

• Install and assemble mechanical systems and components
• Conduct routine maintenance and inspections
• Diagnose faults and perform repairs or replacements
• Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and schematics
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and procedures

What you'll need to succeed

• Trade qualification in Mechanical Fitting or equivalent
• Previous experience in a mining or FIFO (Fly-In Fly-Out) setting is essential
• Proven experience working with pumps, including installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team

What you'll get in return

• $70 per hour + superannuation paid on all hours
• 8:6 FIFO roster from Perth
• Opportunity for extension beyond the initial backfill period
