Your new role
In this contract position based in Sydney (hybrid), you’ll collaborate with a team of engineers to evolve and support an enterprise-grade video management platform. You’ll engage across the full software development lifecycle under an agile framework, from requirement definition through to release. Your responsibilities include designing and implementing feature enhancements, diagnosing and resolving production issues, and partnering with stakeholders to optimise the user experience. You’ll also deliver prompt technical assistance and help drive continuous improvements in both process and product quality.

What you’ll need to succeed
  • Demonstrated expertise building customer-facing applications with the modern .NET web stack (C#, ASP.NET, SQL/T-SQL)
  • Solid understanding of MVVM patterns alongside core web technologies (HTML5, CSS, JavaScript)
  • Proficiency in SOLID principles and test-driven development
  • Track record of designing scalable, maintainable, and high-performance software
  • Tertiary qualification in engineering, computer science, or equivalent
  • Strong analytical and debugging skills, with a passion for mastering new technologies
  • Excellent communicator and collaborative team player
Highly regarded (but not mandatory):
  • Experience with large-scale front-end frameworks (e.g., KnockoutJS, TypeScript)
  • Familiarity with web media processing technologies (WebAssembly, WebCodecs, MediaSourceExtensions)
  • Background in profiling and optimising performance-critical code
  • Exposure to agile delivery methodologies
