They are responsible for delivering infrastructure-related services to schools, early childhood services, and corporate clients across Queensland. With an annual delivery portfolio exceeding $1.7 billion, they are undergoing a significant transformation to uplift its business practices and meet increasing demands. They are looking for a project specialist who will play a pivotal role in implementing a portfolio prioritisation framework.

Your new role

As the specialist, you will implement a framework that enhances transparency, strategic alignment, and value-for-money in capital investment decisions.
  • Interpret and apply prioritisation frameworks and methodologies.
  • Provide expert advice on infrastructure portfolio planning and governance.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define fit-for-purpose criteria and processes.
  • Develop tools, templates, and training materials to build organisational capability.
  • Facilitate workshops and briefings with senior executives and stakeholders.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Has experience in infrastructure investment planning, preferably within government.
  • Experienced in applying prioritisation models and decision-making frameworks.
  • Qualification in Asset Management, Project Management, Infrastructure Planning, Business, Economics, or related disciplines.
  • Experience in government infrastructure investment planning or capital portfolio management.
  • Experience in public sector reform or business transformation initiatives.
