Your new role
- Analyse structured and unstructured data, including maintenance logs, operational records, and technical documents.
- Apply machine learning, NLP, and text-mining techniques to extract insights from text-based data.
- Develop and deliver production-ready Python code that is robust, maintainable, and scalable.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, engineers, and stakeholders, to translate business needs into actionable solutions.
- Support short-term, high-impact projects with tangible outcomes.
- Monitor and communicate insights from data analysis and machine learning models to guide decision-making and continuous improvement.
What you'll need to succeed
- Bachelor's degree in data science, Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in data science or advanced analytics, with demonstrated application in real-world settings.
- Strong programming skills in Python (including libraries such as Pandas, Scikit-learn, PyTorch, or TensorFlow).
- Experience in text analytics/NLP (e.g., NLTK, SpaCy).
- Proficiency in SQL and familiarity with big data platforms (Spark, Hadoop) and cloud services (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Strong foundation in statistical analysis, predictive modeling, and data visualization.
- The ability to speak Spanish would be extremely advantageous for this role.
