Your new company

This highly reputable financial services company are looking for a part-time payroll officer for an interim basis of around 4 months. This will be to help cover some extended leave and the posiition wont be extended but is a very flexible contract which can be tailor to your requirements.

Your new role

On a day-to-day basis you will be responsible for and not limited to:

• Completing the fortnightly payment runs for all employees.
• Monthly superannuation
• Multiple pay variance cycles, while documenting each variance.
• All staff are salaried with no EBA, time and attendance, but you will be required to have taxes, employment laws, redundancies, terminations, and payroll tax

What you'll need to succeed

This is a standalone position so you must have strong payroll experience, including experience in payroll taxes, employment laws, redundancies, terminations. You will also need experience with PeopleSoft, SAP SuccessFactors, or similar platforms. This is a very positive culture you will be joining, so you will need to have a positive perspective as well as strong attention to detail. You must be immediately available or at least able to start mid-September.

This role is starting in mid-September and there will be a handover period so you are fully set when the assignment begins. They are located in the Melbourne CBD with really easy transportation links to the office.
