About the role. Our client is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented machine operator, Guillotine / Bindery Tradesperson, to join their growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with experience in print finishing who takes pride in producing high-quality work and enjoys being part of a collaborative team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and maintain guillotine cutting machinery to trim printed materials accurately
  • Assist with various bindery and finishing tasks including folding, cello glazing, padding, and collating
  • Read and follow job instructions carefully to ensure timely and accurate completion.
  • Monitor quality and consistency of finished products
  • Safely handle and move paper and materials
  • Maintain a clean and organised workspace
  • Work closely with team members to ensure efficient production
About You
  • Experience operating guillotine or bindery machinery
  • Strong attention to detail and confidence in measurements
  • Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently or in a team
  • Committed to producing high-quality finished products
Desired Skills
  • Experience with Polar guillotines or Horizon bindery equipment
  • Forklift licence
  • Mechanical aptitude or experience with machine maintenance
  • Familiarity with print or signage production environments
