Payroll Officer

Payroll Officer role available in Eagle Farm | 6-month contract | Attractive rate with onsite parking

Your new company

An exciting opportunity has become available to join this Australian company, who are a leader in their industry. They are seeking an experienced Payroll Officer to join their team on a contract basis for 6-months initially however a further extension may be available. The role will be in their Brisbane offices, which are located close to Brisbane Airport in Eagle Farm, which offers plenty of onsite car parking.

Your new role

Reporting to the General Manager, you will be responsible for the following:
  • Setting up new employees on the payroll system
  • End to end Payroll processing
  • Interpretation of various awards
  • Preparing payroll reports
  • Handling payroll queries
  • Assisting with HR administration and office duties

What you'll need to succeed

In order to be successful, you will meet the following requirements:
  • Previous end-to-end payroll experience
  • Intermediate Excel skills
  • Previous experience working on a large payroll system
  • Exceptional organisational skills and the ability to multitask and prioritise
  • Strong communication skills
