Your new role
In this contract position as a Field Service Engineer specialising in project coordination, you will oversee the planning and delivery of IT infrastructure and security system projects. The role demands a balance of technical proficiency and project management expertise to ensure successful outcomes.
Key responsibilities include:
  • Managing the coordination and execution of infrastructure installations.
  • Developing project plans, monitoring progress, and ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
  • Serving as the primary contact for vendors, contractors, and internal teams.
  • Providing on-site technical support during installation, testing, and commissioning phases.
  • Diagnosing and resolving technical issues in the field.
  • Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company standards.
  • Conducting post-installation verification and acceptance procedures.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you will need a combination of technical knowledge and strong organisational skills. Your ability to manage relationships and communicate effectively will be essential.
Essential qualifications and experience:
  • Demonstrated experience in delivering IT infrastructure projects.

  • Technical understanding of networking systems including LAN, WAN, and Wi‑Fi.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
