Hays has partnered with an organisation providing essential support services that help protect communities and maintain public safety. The team supports frontline operations through reliable IT systems and communications infrastructure. The role is based in Western Sydney and requires onsite attendance during the initial onboarding period, with ongoing flexibility to work remotely two to three days per week. A car is essential due to travel requirements.

Your new role
In this position, you will provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 technical support across a wide range of systems and devices. Support is delivered via phone, email, and onsite visits, covering standard IT issues such as PCs, software, mobile devices, networks, and authentication systems. In addition, you’ll assist with specialised equipment used in operational field environments, including radios, pagers, and mobile data terminals.

What you'll need to succeed
You will bring broad experience in IT support, ideally within a field services or high-demand environment. A strong understanding of hardware, software, communications systems, and diagnostic tools is essential. Familiarity with ITIL processes and the ability to manage competing priorities will be key to meeting service expectations. The role requires someone who can quickly adapt to new systems and technologies, with excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach to problem-solving.
