Your new role

As a SAP Data Specialist, you will play a critical role in the successful migration of data from legacy systems into SAP environments. You’ll be responsible for designing and executing robust data migration strategies, managing ETL processes, and ensuring the integrity and accuracy of all transferred data. This role demands a deep understanding of SAP data structures and a meticulous approach to validation and reconciliation.

• Lead end-to-end SAP data migration activities, including extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL)
• Ensure data quality through rigorous profiling, cleansing, validation, and reconciliation
• Collaborate with functional and technical teams to understand data requirements and mapping
• Utilise SAP migration tools such as LSMW and SAP Data Services to execute migration tasks
• Maintain documentation and provide support during testing and cutover phases

What you'll need to succeed

• Proven experience with SAP data migration tools (e.g. LSMW, SAP Data Services)
• Solid understanding of SAP Master Data (Material Master, Business Partners, Fixed Assets, Projects)
• Familiarity with SAP Transactional Data (GL Balances, Inventory, Fixed Asset Balances)
• Expertise in data profiling, cleansing, validation, and reconciliation
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent communication and documentation skills
