Power Platform Senior Test Analyst | Approximately 24-month contract

Hays has partnered with a large Brisbane enterprise organisation currently delivering a major transformation across its digital platforms. As part of this journey, the Enterprise Business Platform team is leading the implementation of modern cloud-based solutions using Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Power Platform. This team is responsible for designing, configuring, and supporting high-quality applications that drive operational excellence and customer-focused outcomes.

Your new role

As a Power Platform Senior Test Analyst, you’ll play a key role in a large-scale project team delivering integrated solutions across Dynamics 365 and Power Platform. You’ll be responsible for managing and coordinating testing activities, ensuring quality assurance across all phases of delivery. Your responsibilities will include:
  • Creating testing artefacts including test plans and summary reports
  • Coordinating test efforts and mentoring subject-matter experts
  • Ensuring testing standards align with industry best practices
  • Deriving and maintaining test cases and associated data
  • Executing test cases and documenting results with precision
  • Managing test environments and defect resolution
  • Escalating quality concerns and providing timely updates to the Test Manager
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure successful delivery

What you'll need to succeed

  • Proven experience testing Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Power Platform applications in Agile environments
  • Strong understanding of testing methodologies and tools such as ALM – Quality Centre, JIRA, Confluence, and Zephyr Scale
  • Experience working in large, complex ICT environments
  • Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent time management and documentation capabilities
  • A collaborative mindset and ability to deliver under pressure
