Your new role
Are you detail-oriented, confident working with complex documentation, and passionate about supporting high-value lending transactions? Join our dynamic operations team supporting Corporate & Institutional Banking (C&IB) and play a key role in managing and processing syndicated and bilateral loan deals.
As a Lending Operations Associate, you will be responsible for the end-to-end administration of lending transactions, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with internal policies and procedures. You’ll work closely with front-line bankers and stakeholders to manage a portfolio of corporate customers, supporting the setup and ongoing maintenance of loan deals within LoanIQ and other core systems.
- Process and administer both simple and complex lending transactions, including syndicated and bilateral loans.
- Review customer instructions and legal documentation to accurately input data into LoanIQ.
- Manage a personal portfolio of corporate clients, ensuring timely and accurate execution of loan-related activities.
- Monitor inboxes and respond to requests from front-line bankers and C&IB customers.
- Track fees, calculate interest, and manage deal lifecycle events within LoanIQ.
- Adhere to service level agreements (SLAs) and meet critical deadlines, especially during month-end and quarter-end periods.

- Location: 2 Carrington Street, Sydney
- Duration: 6-month temporary contact
- Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 to 5PM
- Hybrid: 2 Days pw in the office – Tuesday & day of choice
- Hourly Rate: $38.99 + Super
What you'll need to succeed
- Prior experience in LoanIQ is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of facility agreements and ability to interpret complex legal documentation.
- Proven ability to work autonomously while managing multiple priorities.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, with confidence in liaising with bankers and internal teams.
- High attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
- Experience in C&IB operations or trade finance is advantageous.
