Your new company
This small Commonwealth Agency is responsible for maintaining, planning, designing and constructing the Nation’s Capital. They are currently seeking an experienced Project Manager to join their team, initially on a contract basis for 12 + months.
Your new role
- Support in the delivery of capital works projects, including remediation and civil works
- Manage the full project lifecycle including project planning, tendering, contract management, site supervision and compliance
- Stakeholder management with government agencies, contractors and consultants
- Contribute to strategic planning, budgeting and reporting
- You will run project meetings, liaise and consult with all stakeholders whilst providing advice and preparing project briefs for minor and complex projects.
What you'll need to succeed
- Proven experience in full project lifecycle project delivery for the Commonwealth
- Strong understanding of commonwealth procurement rules and approval processes
- Qualifications in civil engineering or similar preferred
- Strong leadership capabilities and verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrate the ability to manage competing priorities whilst having high attention to detail
- You must be an Australian citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain Baseline Security Clearance.
