Your new role

The main purpose of this role is the assessment of applications, including outdoor dining, heritage listings, footway usage and a range of industrial, commercial and residential applications. This must be done in time with sometimes short time frames dependent on the development and the issue.

What you'll need to succeed

You will have previous experience of Development Assessment in a NSW Local Government Authority or State Government, as well as a tertiary qualification in Planning or related field. A minimum of 2 years NSW Planning experience is required. You will be involved in discussions with the public so you must be able to negotiate solutions to complex and sensitive matters.

You will be competitively reimbursed for your work as well as an initial 3-month contract with potential for extension.
