A leading national building contractor, celebrated for delivering high-quality Design and Construct (D&C) projects, is seeking an experienced Contracts Administrator to join their team on a diverse portfolio of government and commercial projects valued between $50M and $150M.
Your new role
Reporting to the Contract Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful management and compliance of all commercial contractual requirements under an AS4000 Lump Sum or GC21 Contract. This will encompass a diverse range of duties, including but not limited to:
- Oversee the development, procurement, and administration of subcontractor work packages, ensuring alignment with project requirements and contractual obligations.
- Manage interactions with clients and subcontractors, fostering effective communication and resolving contractual matters to support successful project outcomes.
- Coordinate and compile detailed monthly reports, providing insights on contractual performance, financial tracking, and risk management.
- Analyse contracts, identify potential commercial risks, and implement mitigation strategies to safeguard project interests.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful, it is essential that you have demonstrated experience within the construction industry as a Contracts Administrator combined with the following:
- Proven ability to oversee the full contract lifecycle, from procurement to completion, within the commercial construction sector.
- Solid understanding of contractual obligations, financial reporting, cost control, and risk mitigation strategies to protect project interests.
- Strong communication skills and demonstrated experience managing subcontractor work packages and client relationships effectively.
