You’ll be joining a newly established directorate focused on information governance and digital enablement, where innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement are at the heart of everything they do.
Your new role
As the Delivery Lead in the Tactical Technical Solutions team, you’ll be responsible for leading the delivery of a prioritised backlog of work within a two-year strategic program. Operating on a three-month planning and delivery cadence, you’ll facilitate Agile ceremonies, guide your team through quarterly planning cycles, and ensure alignment with evolving business needs.
You’ll collaborate with a range of stakeholders to ensure technical products are fit-for-purpose, align with enterprise architecture, and transition smoothly into Business-As-Usual operations. Your team includes a PowerBI specialist, a Business Analyst, and a graduate with PowerBI skills, supported by program-level resources including change management and project support.
Key responsibilities include:
Building strong relationships with stakeholders to clarify and deliver business priorities
Facilitating quarterly planning, review, and reset cycles
Supporting the team in balancing speed, quality, and stakeholder expectations
Overseeing product transition, including documentation and support arrangements
The technology stack includes MS Fabric, MS Purview, SQL, PowerBI, SharePoint, ServiceNow, Jira, and the MS Office suite.
What you'll need to succeed
5+ years of leadership experience in technical delivery, ideally within government or large-scale enterprise environments
Hands-on expertise with data and reporting technologies, especially PowerBI, MS Fabric, and SQL
Agile delivery experience (essential), with Scrum Master certification (desirable)
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex ideas and produce clear, accurate documentation
A growth mindset, adaptability, and a collaborative approach to problem-solving
Confidence working in a maturing, evolving environment with a focus on continuous improvement
