Customer Service Officer

Join a Federal Government department to provide face-to-face customer service

Your new company

This Federal Government Department is seeking multiple Customer Service experts to join them for an initial engagement until 30 June 2026 with the potential for further extensions.

Your new role

You will provide exceptional face-to-face customer service, including during routine application appointments. Along with this, you will perform administration tasks related to the customer's application and Quality Assurance checks on the final product. There may also be some back-office data entry and administration tasks that you will assist with when not with customers.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • The ability to work under pressure, in a fast-paced environment with high accuracy.
  • The ability to continuously update yourself on current policies and procedures.
  • Previous experience working on a computer system is required as you will be expected to have the ability to navigate multiple programs while with a customer.
  • Previous experience working within a professional customer service environment is highly desired.
  • A current National Police clearance and a willingness to obtain and maintain a Baseline Clearance upon commencement is required.
  • You must be an Australian Citizen to be considered for this role.
