Located in Central Mangrove on the Central Coast, NSW, Agrana Fruit Australia is a global leader in food ingredients, known for innovation, quality, and customer-centric solutions. With a strong presence selling fruit ingredients to FMCG manufacturers, Agrana is expanding its commercial team and seeking a strategic and entrepreneurial Head of Business Development to drive growth and innovation in the Retail, QSR and Foodservice channels across Australia.


Your new role

As the Head of Business Development for their Retail, QSR and Foodservice channels, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing Agrana’s commercial roadmap in these emerging channels for the business.

Working closely with the leadership team, you will lead the development of new branded offerings in private-label manufacturing for products into major grocery, as well as the sales of processed fruit pouches for the QSR and Foodservice industries, leveraging existing global relationships with major QSR customers, and agreeing listings and ranging with the major Food-Service and Distribution business that serve them.

You will be required to identify market opportunities, engage the head office sourcing and category functions to negotiate ranging, and support Key Account Managers in delivering exceptional customer value and long-term partnerships.


What you'll need to succeed

  • Proven experience in business development, sales leadership, and / or strategic sales role - comfortable winning new lines of business and revenue streams, and converting customers into long-term strategic partnerships.
  • Proven success in an FMCG or B2B Food Ingredients sales role into Grocery, QSR or Foodservice.
  • Strong commercial acumen and understanding of procurement and supply chains into this channel.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder engagement skills with an entrepreneurial mindset mixed with a structured and strategic approach.
  • The business values a collaborative in-person team environment, so being able to be present in Central Mangrove when not on the road meeting customers is key.
