Your new role
- General electrical workshop duties as directed by the supervisor.
- Complete statutory inspections and documentation.
- Accurately record and report statutory requirements.
- Compile test information and systematically verify commissioning points and documents.
- Understanding and commitment to workplace health & safety principals, policies, and procedures.
- Maintain workshop cleanliness and waste management requirements.
- Complete light vehicle and forklift maintenance checklists if required.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures.
- Other duties as required from time to time, as directed by the supervisor.
What you'll need to succeed
- Trade certificate
- QLD Electrical Licence
- LVR CPR
- QLD Coal Board Medical (Advantageous)
- Must be punctual, reliable, and motivated, with a common-sense hands-on approach.
- Able to work as part of a team, as well as autonomously.
- Work within timelines and communicate production risk/s with a direct supervisor.
- Good understanding and knowledge of relevant electrical standards AS/NZS3000, AS/NZS3800, AS/NZS2290
