This mining house situated in North West Queensland is seeking immediate vacancy in Mt Isa.

Your new role

We’re looking for experienced Operators to join our team in Mount Isa. This role offers three roster options:

• A 4-on, 4-off rotation, with alternating day and night 12-hour shifts
• A 7-on, 7-off rotation, with alternating day and night 12-hour shifts
• A 7-on, 7-off schedule with day shifts only

Your responsibilities will include:

• Operate large wheel loaders (CAT 988 or equivalent) to move, load, and manage material efficiently
• Conduct pre-start inspections and routine equipment checks
• Support tailings management and crushing circuit feed operations
• Maintain haul roads and stockpiles with a focus on safety and efficiency
• Assist with basic plant troubleshooting and collaborate with maintenance teams
• Operate various heay equipment including dozers, graders, and excavators across site operations
• Perform final trim and bulk earthworks using GPS systems where required
• Contribute to landform construction, rehabilitation, and haul road maintenance
• Conduct machine inspections, minor servicing, and ensure all equipment is operating within safe limits

What you'll need to succeed
To be successful for this role you will need:

• Previous experience within a similar role
• Haul truck / Moxy Tickets
• Loader / Excavator Ticket
• Grader / Dozer Tickets
• Be able to pass a full functional medical and D&A
• QLD Manual License
