Scrum Master - Banking Transformation
Location: Sydney, NSW (Hybrid working)
Contract Duration: 12 Months
Daily Rate: $800–$900 + Super

About the Role

A leading Australian financial services organisation is seeking a capable and proactive Scrum Master to support agile delivery across key initiatives. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who thrives in dynamic environments and is passionate about helping teams stay focused, productive, and aligned.

Key Responsibilities

  • Facilitate agile ceremonies including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives
  • Actively support teams in identifying and removing delivery obstacles
  • Champion agile principles and foster continuous improvement
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure delivery alignment
  • Provide expert-level support and guidance in the use of Jira, ensuring teams are confident and effective in leveraging the tool for tracking, planning, and reporting

Essential Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Scrum Master in agile environments
  • Highly skilled in Jira, with the ability to coach and support teams in its effective use
  • Experience working within Tier 1 enterprise environments, ideally in financial services
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Proactive, solutions-focused, and team-oriented
