Hays are currently partnering with a State Government Entity to recruit a Systems Accountant for a 7-month fixed-term contract.

Your new role
The Systems Accountant is responsible for the administration and improvement of financial systems, ensuring they are reliable and efficient. Systems involved include TechnologyOne (Finance) and assist with administrative needs for TechnologyOne HRIS, Dynamics 365 and other developmental systems.

Core functional skills and candidate requirements include:

• Maintenance of budget model using advanced MS power tools (Power Query essential)
• Administration and maintenance of Technology One CiA platform for Finance to ensure the integrity of data and reporting
• Provide technical support, user maintenance and access to functions for end users
• Lead the implementation of finance system upgrades of new and replacement solutions

What you'll need to succeed
This role requires a candidate with a strong understanding of finance and systems who can play a key role in improving the wider finance processes, including budgeting, forecasting and monthly & annual processes. Strong experience with TechnologyOne CiA & Power Query is essential.

What you'll get in return

This role offers a 7-month fixed-term contract to cover a period of leave, within an exciting and crucial State Government entity. Annualised salary between $113,022 - $124,884 + superannuation, with hybrid flexible working arrangements on offer.
