HR Drivers – Fire Department Logistics Support

Position Overview
We’re seeking reliable and safety-conscious HR Drivers to join the Fire Department’s logistics team. This is a non-operational role focused on the transportation of trucks and equipment across various locations, supporting critical firefighting operations without direct engagement in emergency response.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and relocate Heavy Rigid vehicles within the department network
- Safely transport firefighting equipment and supplies
- Perform routine vehicle checks and basic maintenance
- Work closely with the logistics team to coordinate scheduled movements
- Maintain detailed driving records and adhere to safety protocols
Requirements
- Valid HR licence
- Clean driving record (no major infringements in the past 5 years)
- Current medical assessment (completed within the last 12 months)
- Ability to follow schedules and communicate clearly with team members
- No heavy lifting involved

- Previous experience in emergency services or government fleet operations
- Strong punctuality and attention to detail
