The team works collaboratively to produce high-impact content that supports public awareness, education, and engagement across a range of digital platforms.

Your new role

As a Production Coordinator, you’ll be responsible for managing the end-to-end coordination of video and social media content production. Key responsibilities include:

  • Coordinating planning, logistics, and schedules for multi-format content production.
  • Managing shoot requirements, location access, and production resources.
  • Working across content teams to ensure deadlines and deliverables align with campaign goals.
  • Liaising with business areas for reviews, feedback, and approvals.
  • Ensuring all required consent and accessibility documentation is completed and archived.
  • Supporting senior team members with logistics, reporting, and day-to-day coordination tasks.
  • Maintaining production records and contributing to regular team reporting.
  • Developing strong networks and positive relationships with internal stakeholders.
  • Leading end-to-end project management and stakeholder coordination.

What you'll need to succeed

To thrive in this role, you’ll bring:

  • Proven experience in video or animation production coordination.
  • Strong organisational and logistical capabilities.
  • Skills in procurement, vendor management, and production documentation.
  • Ability to manage multi-format content schedules and shoot logistics.
  • Stakeholder engagement and project management expertise.
  • Attention to accessibility, consent, and compliance documentation.
  • Familiarity with content tracking tools and Office 365.

Additional desirable skills include:

  • Knowledge of Australian Government communications protocols or experience working in a government environment.
  • Understanding of accessibility requirements in video production (e.g. captions, transcripts, audio description).
  • Experience using project management or content tracking tools and the broader Office 365 suite (e.g. SharePoint, Outlook, Teams).
  • Familiarity with copyright, consent, and usage rights for visual media.
  • Exposure to Adobe Creative Cloud applications, particularly Premiere Pro or Media Encoder (advantageous but not essential).
