Your new role
Oversee and implement long-term asset management plans, capital works programs, and service-level agreements to align with organisational goals and operational needs.
Provide technical support and leadership for infrastructure projects, including planning, budgeting, and coordination of self-performing works and external contractors.
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure new and existing assets meet operational, maintenance, and safety standards.
Maintain and update asset management systems and databases, ensuring integration with GIS and compliance with financial reporting standards.
Conduct asset condition assessments, valuations, and forecasting, and report findings to executive management and council for planning and decision-making.
Promote a collaborative, high-performing team culture through effective communication, innovation, and service delivery leadership.
Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, policies, and procedures, including recordkeeping, risk mitigation, and ethical standards.
Foster a safe work environment, actively participate in team initiatives, and contribute to a positive and solution-focused workplace culture.
