Trainer Assessor

Great opportunity working as the new Trainer Assessor on a 12 month contract!
We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Training Specialist – Learning Design to join the Learning, Capability and Compliance team.

Your new role
Reporting to the Superintendent of Learning Design, Development and Delivery, this role offers a great opportunity to apply your technical training expertise to the development of eLearning and nationally accredited training programs.

As a pivotal member of the team, you will be entrusted with a range of responsibilities, including but not limited to:
  • Design and develop learning manuals and assessments aligned to National Units of Competency.
  • Create engaging eLearning modules and digital learning products.
  • Develop and maintain Asset-owned training materials as required.
  • Demonstrate instructional design experience in competency-based learning and eLearning development.

What you will need to succeed
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teams and sites
  • Advanced writing skills and capability to update controlled documents to company standards
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving skills with a continuous improvement mindset
  • High level of attention to detail and proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • Excellent organisational skills and ability to manage competing priorities
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (required)
  • Previous experience as a Trainer Assessor or within an operational technical environment in the resources sector is highly regarded
