We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Training Specialist – Learning Design to join the Learning, Capability and Compliance team.

Your new role
Reporting to the Superintendent of Learning Design, Development and Delivery, this role offers a great opportunity to apply your technical training expertise to the development of eLearning and nationally accredited training programs.
As a pivotal member of the team, you will be entrusted with a range of responsibilities, including but not limited to:
Design and develop learning manuals and assessments aligned to National Units of Competency.
Create engaging eLearning modules and digital learning products.
Develop and maintain Asset-owned training materials as required.
Demonstrate instructional design experience in competency-based learning and eLearning development.
What you will need to succeed
Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teams and sites
Advanced writing skills and capability to update controlled documents to company standards
Proven analytical and problem-solving skills with a continuous improvement mindset
High level of attention to detail and proficiency with Microsoft Office
Excellent organisational skills and ability to manage competing priorities
Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (required)
Previous experience as a Trainer Assessor or within an operational technical environment in the resources sector is highly regarded
