Exciting opportunity to work in a State Government Department for an initial three-month contract with the possibility of extension
Your new role
- Coordinate meetings, agendas, minutes, and divisional correspondence.
- Manage travel bookings, accommodation, and payment reconciliations.
- Prepare reports, letters, presentations, and briefing papers.
- Support internal workflows including mail, document collation, and database maintenance.
- Assist with corporate events, field tours, and stakeholder workshops.
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to organise meetings and gather information.
- Provide coverage for reception and executive support during leave periods.
- Reconcile purchasing card statements and assist with performance management documentation.
What you'll need to succeed
- Demonstrated experience in providing clerical and administrative support to senior staff and/or diverse teams.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and competing priorities in a high-pressure environment.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office or similar systems.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including proofreading and attention to detail.
- Experience working in an organisation aligned with the values and ethics of this department.
