Looking for an experienced Forklift Operator to commence ASAP in Mackay!

Your new role

We are seeking a highly skilled and safety-conscious Forklift Operator to join our busy branch operation. This role involves continuous forklift operation over an 8-hour shift, handling extremely large and heavy components, some weighing up to 14 tonnes. You will be working with 5-metre-high stacks and be responsible for loading and unloading shipping containers and trucks.

Your day-to-day job will have you completing the following:
  • Operate electric reach trucks and diesel forklifts ranging from 2.5 to 18 tonnes.
  • Safely load and unload trucks and shipping containers.
  • Move large OEM components and heavy parts with precision and care.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
  • Follow all safety protocols and operational procedures.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Proven experience operating electric reach trucks and large diesel forklifts (2.5 – 18 tonnes)
  • Demonstrated ability to handle oversized and heavy components
  • Strong understanding of warehouse safety standards
  • HRWL - Forklift
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
