HAYS IT is currently partnered with a prominent federal government organisation based in Canberra, ACT. We are seeking to appoint EL1 Senior DevOps Engineer/ Release Manager for a long-term contract.
The role will be based in Canberra, ACT with a minimum of 3 days in office (Canberra based) + 2 days from home subject to approval.
Your new role
In this role you will be responsible for leading and managing Salesforce release pipelines and Microsoft Azure DevOps configurations that support critical government functions.
You will be responsible for being at the forefront of managing pre-production environments, mentoring delivery teams, and driving continuous improvement in DevOps practices.
Key Responsibilities will be
- Performing Salesforce projects and BAU releases via Azure DevOps pipelines.
- Managing and enhancing Azure DevOps pipeline configurations for Salesforce.
- Maintaining and aligning Salesforce pre-production environments.
- Maintaining all Salesforce pre-production environments, including ensuring alignment between environments, auto-generation of test data and managing privileged access control.
- Guiding and mentoring delivery teams and Salesforce administrators on release best practices.
What you'll need to succeed
To be considered for this role, you should have:
- Active Negative Vetting Level 1 security clearance.
- Demonstrated experience in managing Microsoft Azure DevOps pipelines for Salesforce
- Demonstrated experience in Salesforce Service Cloud and Public sector Solutions Cloud
- Experience in Bash and PowerShell Scripting
- Experience in Git version control
- Experience in Salesforce development, administration, deployment and release management.
- Experience in multi-org Salesforce ecosystems
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
Please note: Due to the nature of our client, for this role you MUST be an Australian Citizen with an active NV1 Security Clearance.
