Your new role
Reporting to the Head of Branch Banking & Operations, the Bank Manager will inspire and lead a diverse team of up to 7 staff, delivering exceptional service and driving business growth. This role is pivotal in fostering a culture of inclusion, performance, and customer-centricity, while ensuring compliance and operational excellence.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading the branch team to deliver professional, efficient, and customer-focused service.
- Driving business development and local area marketing initiatives to grow market share.
- Managing team performance through coaching, development, and compliance oversight.
- Achieving branch and individual KPIs across sales, revenue, and customer satisfaction.
- Ensuring adherence to operational policies, FSRA compliance, and regulatory frameworks.
- Maintaining high standards in branch security, safety, and risk management.
- Building strong relationships with customers and the local community.
- Championing MyState's values and fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation.
What you'll need to succeed
- Strong knowledge of retail banking products and financial services legislation.
- Proven experience in retail or financial sales with a customer-first mindset.
- Demonstrated success in generating referrals, meeting targets, and leading teams.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and coaching skills.
- Digitally savvy with a focus on operational efficiency and innovation.
- Advanced capability in risk management and data-driven decision-making.
