Senior Customer Service Consultant – NSW Government

Location:Parramatta
Contract: 3-month contract with potential for extension
Rate: $40 per hour + Super

About the Role:
Join a respected NSW Government department as a
Senior Customer Service Consultant. This is a great opportunity to contribute to public service delivery in a back-office environment, supporting internal and external stakeholders through administrative excellence and customer-focused solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and respond to complex customer enquiries via phone and email.
  • Perform accurate data entry and maintain internal systems and records.
  • Provide administrative support across customer service operations.
  • Handle escalated issues and ensure timely resolution in line with departmental policies.
  • Liaise with internal teams to coordinate responses and ensure service standards are met.
  • Contribute to process improvements and service delivery initiatives.

About You:
  • Proven experience in a senior customer service contact centre role.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Experience working in government or regulated environments is highly regarded.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
