Your new role
In this team, you’ll be responsible for providing application testing support across a range of environments, including integration testing and user acceptance. You’ll contribute to documenting acceptance criteria, manage your own work packages, and produce key testing artefacts like test plans, data sets, and summary reports. You’ll work both independently and as part of a broader testing team, supporting the deployment and enhancement of mostly on-premise COTS products, often integrated with bespoke systems.
What you'll need to succeed
To thrive in this role, you’ll bring:
- A current TSPV or TSPA clearance is essential.
- Experience across all software test levels (unit, system, integration, UAT)
- Strong understanding of test methodologies in both Agile and Waterfall environments
- Ability to identify and record discrepancies between actual and expected results
- Skills in creating test plans, test data, and managing testing environments
- Effective communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- ISTQB Foundation certification (required)
- Experience with Jira (highly desirable)
- A relevant IT degree (e.g. Bachelor of Computer Science(or IT) is a plus.
